Contest for 2nd Blogiversary

I can't believe that it's been 2 yrs already. 2 yrs that have brought me many new knitting friends not to mention many laughs. So to celebrate I think a contest is in order. I love to see all the projects my friends are knitting and would love to know what everyone has on their needles. So from now til Saturday September 12th at midnight leave a comment and tell me what you're working on.

You will have a choice of two prizes and Pam has offered to throw in one of her great knitting counters. Thanks Pam!!!

First up is three skeins of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Super Chunky. There is enough to knit a hat and gloves. I made a pair of these great gloves with the same yarn for my grandmother.

If you don't like chunky yarn or don't live someplace that gets cold you can choose Pagewood Farms Yukon sock yarn. I had a hard time capturing the true colorway. It was dark and rainy today and the lightening just was not cooperating.

Don't forget in the comments to specify which prize you would like. I'm sure after I read all your comments my knitting queue will get much bigger. If this is your first time to my blog or your first time commenting WELCOME!!!

Good luck!!!

I'm working on the world's fugliest socks.

I mistakenly picked up sport weight yarn when I meant to get fingering...soooooooo, I have these really WARM socks the color of mushy peas and rocks.

Come check them out on my blog ------

IF I win, I'd like some nice sock yarn, please. Yours is so much prettier than mine. LOL

Happy blogoversary!

I'm actually working on your socks! LOL! I also have on my needles a basic ribbed beanie for a friend in DIC Classy, the never ending Wonderful Wallaby, and a lace headband for my youngest. Need to get a size 5, 29in addi to cast on my Blaze.

Happy Anniversary on blogging. I'm so behind the times, I haven't even started!

PeaceLovin from Ravelry :D
if I were to win, I'd like the sock yarn! Woot!

What's on the needles?

There's the sweater that has been waiting for sleeves for two years.

There's the sweater that has been waiting for sleeves for two months.

There's the swatches for the new sweater I'm planning. I'll base it on this pattern, but without the sleeves. I learn. Slowly, but I learn.

If I win I'd love to have the wonderful Pagewood Yukon yarn. That colorway is marvelous!

Happy Blogiversary! I have several projects on the needles - a pair of your socks; february lady sweater; chemo cap to donate; Cashsilk Fern scarf for a friend for Christmas. Not that I need any stash enhancement...but I'd love the cashmerino chunky and of course Pam's stitch counter (just 'casue I've heard so much about them):)

Happy Blogiversary!!!!
I'm one of those "sock" addicts. I have the Ravelry SKA mystery sock on my dpn's AND "no-purl Monkeys" on my circs. I also just cast on for a sweater but will frog that and start over since I saw "your" February Lady's Sweater. I love how you did the sleeves, that's exactly what I was searching for. I have some KnitPicks Wool of the Andes in a beautiful Cranberry heather that I'd like to try making it with.

I love the sock yarn, of course, and it would make a great pair of socks for this winter.

Love your blog!

I'm working on "gail" (on ravelry)
It's a lace shawl and my first attempt at a big lace project. After a bit of frustration, some frogging and the discovery of lifelines, it seems to be going pretty well. Now if I can only keep the cat away from it.
I'd love to make use of that sock yarn.

Hi! I found you on ravelry.

Right now, I'm working on Marianne Kinzel's Daffodil design- a pretty ambitious lace project for me. It's coming along pretty well.

And my lunchtime knitting is Wendy Knits "Dead Simple Lace" socks. Ironically, I get complacent and make more mistakes in those than the tough lace!

I have a bajillion skeins of sock yarn, so I'd love to try the casmerino.

Congratulations on your anniversary!
I currently don't have anything on my needles - I have been cr*cheting instead. Both yarns look nice - I'd like either of them.

I've currently put down the sock needles for some hat-knitting for donations. (Macuwita sni group on rav.) But socks are my go-to knitting, so I would love to win sock yarn!

Congrats on your second blogiversary, and thanks for the contest on ravelry :)

I just finished up my Summer Lovin' Socks, and they're blocking right now! I'm also frantically working on a hat, scarf, and matching mittens, and a pair of men's size 12 socks, both of which need to be done by next Sunday. Also OTN are about 5 or 6 different socks, and a SeaSilk scarf for me.

If I win, I'd love the sock yarn, because I can never ever have enough!

For me there is nothing on the needles. It's on the drop spindle. I'm new to spinning and taking my time. I'm not knitting anything right now because I want to give this my full attention. Thanks for the contest. If I were lucky enough to win I'd choose the Yukon yarn.
