Unchain My Heart - Now available

My Unchain My Heart pattern (Ravelry Link) that I designed for Saffron Dyeworks is now available here and on Ravelry.

$6.00
Gauge:
Very Light Fingering - 9 sts and 12 rows = 1 inch

Sizes: S, M, L

S - 7" foot and leg circumference
M - 8" foot and leg circumference
L - 9" foot and leg circumference

Please Note:
If you are using a very light fingering weignt yarn your socks may seem tight until you block your socks and the yarn has a chance to bloom. If you have a larger instep be sure to go with the longer heel flap so your socks fit properly.

Shown in size M. Model wears a US size 8.5 - 9 shoe, medium width.

Materials:
US size 1 (2.25mm) double pointed needles

Yarn -1 hank Saffron Dyeworks Enya Yarn (colorway - Swoop). These look great knit up in other yarns too. You can check out all the FO's for this pattern here on Ravelry. You can use a heavier weight sock yarn also. Check these out knit out of Sanguine Gryphon Skinny Bugga, they turned out beautiful.

Tapestry needle

Pattern Naming Contest

I have finally finished my second sock pattern. I love the way it turned out with the beautiful Destination Yarn. I used the America the Beautiful collection in colorway sea. Usually when I complete a pattern I know what it should be named. Not so much this time.

So I have decided to solicit your help. Leave a comment with suggestions for pattern names from today til Sunday Nov 8th. I will then pick my top 5 favorites and we will vote on a winner. The winner will receive a copy of the pattern and a skein of the gorgeous destination yarn (color tbd). So far I have one suggestion, I think it was from Annie in my knitting group, Bubble socks.
