I still don't have any FO pictures of my Ribbed Lace Bolero and my finally complete Eyelet Cardigan. I'm happy with the way they both turned out. My finished summer knit list is growing. I've started yet another project. I could' nt resist making another Indigo Ripple Skirt. I made one last year but unfortunately the skirt doesn't fit anymore. It grew and it's too big. I didn't use the Rowan Denim last year because I was afraid to it was going to shrink, but after seeing Eileen's finished skirt (Ravelry link) I decided I had to have one in the denim. As usual I didn't get gauge with the size 6 suggested needle size. I had to go down two needle sizes so it may be awhile before I get this done.
I also bought some Shibui sock yarn from Webs to make the Shetland Shorty. I can't wait to get started.
I couldn't decide if I wanted to use the green (Wasabi) or the dark teal (Peacock) so I got both. One can never have enough sock yarn.

Free at last
My wireless stopped working about 6 months ago. I just haven't had the time to try to figure out why. Yesterday I got sick and tired of having to use the computer in our basement office. It's rather dark and there aren't any windows. I'm also kind of a computer hog and the DH gets a little frustrated that he can never get on the computer.
I'm actually done with all the knitting I just need to seam it up. I'm using Lion Brand Cotton Ease. Here is a close up of the stitch pattern. It's a two row repeat that is really easy to memorize.
Hopefully I will have an FO or two to post tomorrow. I will leave you with a picture of one of the trees that I have in my back yard. In early spring the tree blooms white flowers and in late spring there are red berries. For the last couple of days all I have heard in the back yard is this tree rustling. On average there are usually at least 5 to 10 birds fighting over the berries. I have had a couple birds fly right into my kitchen window. The thud noise scared the crap out of me.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

And the list gets longer
I don't know where I have been? I'm always a day late and a dollar short. I didn't realize that the new Summer 2008 Knitty was already out. The cover design, shetland shorty is a must knit. It's so cute and perfect for some instant gratification knitting. I also love this design called seascape. I love, love, love kidsilk haze. I actually have three balls in this exact color. I also love sock knitting and any pattern that combines socks and Noro Kureyon sock yarn is a must have. I love these socks and of course I have some Kureyon sock yarn in my stash. Three more projects added to my list.
